Tomato - Vintage Wine

Tomato - Vintage Wine
Derived from the Brandy Stripe variety in the 1980’s it was later released in its current form in 1998 by a breeder in the Netherlands. A prolifically growing rare tomato, which needs reinforced staking or a cage, the Vintage Wine displays beautiful red and golden yellow stripes and has a subtly flattened shape. It is a potato leaf plant which produces a sweet and tangy fruit with a meaty texture. Great for any purpose, including a tangy pasta sauce, but especially great sliced on a sandwich or chopped for fresh salads.
