Famous for being the best paste tomato in the world, this Italian heirloom was bred specifically for the 1950’s canning industry in Parma Italy. With a distinct aromatic and complex flavor this variety lends itself perfectly to pastes, sauces and soup flavors. Reaching nearly 5 inches in an oblong shape they can get as big as 6 oz in thick clusters that keep producing throughout the summer. The tomato cuts easily, has seed pockets which can be easily cleaned, and are quickly pealed.
