Pepper - Pimento
Pepper - Pimento
A slightly spicy but mildly sweet “cherry pepper” variety, the Pimento is one of the most versatile culinary peppers. It goes well with cheddar cheese, perfect for stuffing and roasting or eating raw to taste the zesty crispness of its flesh. The plant grows to a manageable 2.5 feet tall and vigorously produces fruit throughout the growing season. Be sure to harvest when fully ripe as it maximizes its flavor. Originating from Ohio it thrives even in Northern climates and keeps well in storage after harvest.
